ioS battery draining/ overheating

I use an iPhone 6 16 gb on which I downloaded iOS 10 a few days ago. I hate this update! The battery drops from 100% to under 30% in less than two hours of use; and that without any phone calls--just by using whatsapp and twitter. I've also had days when the battery shows 23% and the next instant the phone dies. When you plug it to the power supply, it directly shows up at 21%.

Also, upon using the phone for about 30 to 40 minutes at a stretch, it heats up considerably, something that wasn't happening before.

If there's some way to fix this, please do tell. Or Apple needs to urgently come up with a fix. It's a pain to have to constantly keep the phone attached to a power bank.

I'll piggy back what stefano76 said. There are many of us who are experiencing the same issues. I have the new iPhone 7 running iOS 10.0.1

I've heard from friends of mine who are on the BETA team and they said Apple has already release a BETA that's being tested. One of them reported that the battery drainage issue is no longer happening. I hope that's true...this has been very annoying for sure.
